Tailored Hakamas? - 2007/02/05 22:31 Im a very big guy to say the least lol...im 6,6 and weigh 350, id really like to start studying Aikido, but a concern ive always had was i dont know if i can find a hakama in my size...im now a second degree black belt in Kempo karate, and even in this style (which genereally has much larger uniforms for some reason) my gi always had to be Tailored...is there any way i could find plus sized hakamas or tailored hakamas when i reach the Dan Level?

Re:Tailored Hakamas? - 2007/02/06 00:09 Are you sure, KruWes? Hakamas are really, really, really very large by itself, and I thought (never actually seen with my eyes) that they are bound around the waist so that they fit any size?
