re:Zen Tai Chi Gong - 2007/01/25 20:25 Again, another out-of context....

There can be no Zen Tai Chi

Zen is from the Chen Sect.....

Tai Chi is Daoist

Totally different.........

re:Zen Tai Chi Gong - 2007/01/26 00:56 Thats absurd....

That would be like saying all religion leads to the same end.

Zen is a different philosophy/prcatice than Tai Chi

re:Zen Tai Chi Gong - 2007/01/26 00:59 okay, I don't really want to get into a big philosophical conversation here, but yes, all religions do, in fact, lead to the same place. Whatever trappings they may take on to distinguish their uniqueness, they are all about reaching the spiritual nature that dwells within each individual.
call it what you like...it is the same.
Zen and Tai Chi are both moving up the same mountain only from different paths...

re:Zen Tai Chi Gong - 2007/01/26 06:19 It is not the same.
Religions are not the same.

Tell a Christian that Biddhism has the same spirtuality as they, or any other religion to so to another is absurd.

Reaching a spirtual nature is not optimum.....

Zen and Tai Chi are not moving up the same mountain....

One is about a state of mind....
The other about a state obring.

To call a group of produce fruit, is not the same in comparing apples to oranges

re:Zen Tai Chi Gong - 2007/02/02 01:27 The teaching of all great religions are different but the fundamental basis of them are the same. Religion is the organization of spirituality. Look at the core teaching of any religion and you will find that they do indeed all speak of the same thing.

This is a hard concept to accept if you are caught up in the dogma of a specific religion.

The truth is that spirituality is the same no matter what religion you base your beliefs in.

...and Zen Tai Chi Gong is simply a spiritual discipline that offers a method of training the body, mind and spirit.
